UAMS relies on philanthropic support from generous donors in Arkansas and beyond to provide essential funds to support clinical excellence, groundbreaking research and innovative education for the next generation of health professionals. To address the health and wellness of the people of Arkansas, UAMS’ fundraising arm, Institutional Advancement, is leading Well into the Future: A Campaign for UAMS. This fundraising effort, has already raised more than $200 million of its $500 million goal. More than 28,000 gifts have been made to the campaign.

Institutional Advancement, led by Vice Chancellor John Erck, MA, integrates donor and alumni relations with fundraising to secure resources and support for the UAMS Foundation Fund for the benefit of the UAMS mission. Institutional Advancement secures philanthropic gifts and grants from individuals, corporations and community partners that provide critical resources to advance the work in UAMS’ threefold mission areas — education, patient care and research.
The goals of the Well Into the Future Campaign support those of the UAMS Strategic Plan, Vision 2029: UAMS will transform Arkansas into the healthiest state in the region through education, access to world-class clinical care and innovative research. Through three points of investment, UAMS will:
- Ensure every Arkansan has access to the highest quality medical care, the most promising new treatments and therapies and, most of all, hope for a healthier future.
- Put compassionate care within every Arkansan’s reach, regardless of their ZIP code, and help our families and communities be well and stay well.
- Prepare tomorrow’s medical workforce to provide the kind of care Arkansans need — when where they need it.
